Practice Area

Paula Lapin's practice areas include commercial real estate and condominium development.

Ms. Lapin represents developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, buyers and sellers in commercial real estate matters. She also writes offering plans for condominiums and homeowner’s associations throughout upstate New York and represents many of their Boards of Directors on an ongoing basis.

Prior to joining Fix Spindelman Brovitz & Goldman in 2005, Ms. Lapin practiced in Syracuse, NY from 1976-2005. Most recently she was with Hiscock & Barclay, LLP from 2001-2005. Earlier, Ms. Lapin ran her own solo law practice for 12 years. During that time she represented numerous condominium developers in projects that started thriving new communities in Syracuse, NY.

Ms. Lapin is a frequent lecturer for the New York State Bar Association on condominium law (Member, Real Estate Section) and is also a member of the Monroe County Bar Association. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family Service.
