Mr. Schultz is a Principal with Fix Spindelman Brovitz & Goldman. Mr. Schultz received his Juris Doctorate from SUNY at Buffalo, and served as an associate with Fix Spindelman Brovitz & Goldman prior to being elevated to partner in 1985. Estate planning and administration, elder law, corporate law, as well as residential and commercial real estate are the primary areas of his practice.

Since joining the firm in 1979, Mr. Schultz has represented hundreds of clients in the administration of estates, both large and small. In the course of representation, he has handled numerous litigated matters, including Will contests, creditor's claims, proceedings to remove fiduciaries and objections to Accounts, among others. His experience includes the administration of complex estates in excess of $15 Million, which include closely held corporations, partnerships and limited partnerships. Mr. Schultz has handled numerous estate tax appeals before the Internal Revenue Service, as well as the State of New York.

With over twenty-five years of experience advising clients in the creation of businesses, including closely held corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. Mr. Schultz counsels clients concerning the appropriate entity, the appropriate organizational documents, buy/sell and other forms of shareholder and partnership agreements. His experience includes representation of business clients concerning both purchase and sale, and other related business transactions.

Mr. Schultz formerly served as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at St. John Fisher College. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Child Care Council of Rochester, Inc. and was a former member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Capital Management, Inc. He has lectured to numerous private groups in the areas of estate planning and elder law. Mr. Schultz is a member of the New York State, Florida State and Monroe County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida State Bar Association.

Mr. Schultz is licensed to practice law both in the States of New York and Florida, and appears regularly before state and federal courts as well as governmental and administrative agencies.
